LEXINGTON, Ky. (WDKY) - A University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital cafeteria worker was diagnosed with hepatitis A.

The university confirmed the case Thursday afternoon, and it is asking anyone who ate at the cafeteria from Oct. 11-30 to get a vaccine, as they may have been exposed.

UK will hold a news conference with more details on the case.

You can call 859-257-1000 for more information if you are during the time period.

Symptoms of hepatitis A are fatigue, decreased appetite, stomach pain, nausea, darkened urine, pale stools and jaundice. You are asked to practice good handwashing to prevent the spread.
