LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – The University of Kentucky is rolling out new vaccine incentives.

Employees who have gotten the shot can enter in a prize drawing. Some of the prizes available include an extra week of vacation, men’s basketball season tickets, a $1000 bonus, free parking, a staycation with VisitLex, and more.

Students can enter a separate drawing for tuition and education-abroad scholarships, flex dollars, football and basketball season passes, Keeneland tickets, meet and greet with Coach Stoops, Crank and Boom ice cream for a year, and more.

Vaccines aren’t mandatory on campus, but there’s a growing movement in favor of a mandate.
