LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – At 10:38 a.m. on Thursday, Lexington police were dispatched to the Verizon Store at 2348 Nicholasville Rd. in response to a reported robbery.

Upon arrival, employees told the police that two men entered the store, tied them up, and demanded Apple products.

The two were described as being 5 feet 8 inches tall and 185 pounds while the other was 6 feet tall and 300 pounds. Both were said to be wearing masks and hooded clothing, and at least one had a firearm.

The men appeared to be very familiar with the business and had a plan in place.

Lexington police said the two men ran away with an undisclosed amount of stolen property and the victims’ phones, which were found nearby.

There is no word on an arrest yet and the case is still under investigation.
