LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (FOX 56) – Anderson County will once again welcome some of Nashville’s most accomplished songwriters for its 3rd annual Boots and Bourbon festival on Saturday, Nov. 20.

The event will take place at The Barn at McCall Springs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Attendees will have the unique opportunity to sample some of the best bourbon varieties from Bardstown Bourbon and Wild turkey, among others, while listening to Nashville songwriters’ most famous songs, and the stories behind them.

The Grammy Award-winning songwriters attending are Lee Thomas Miller, JT Harding, and Wynn Varble, writers of country music hits such as:

  • “In Color” Jamey Johnson
  • “You’re Gonna Miss This” Trace Atkins
  • “Somewhere In My Car” Keith Urban
  • “Sangria” Blake Shelton
  • “Waitin’ On a Woman” Brad Paisley

Proceeds will benefit the Lawrenceburg Academy of Performing Arts.
