Bluegrass Council of the Blind

The Bluegrass Council of the Blind empowers people with vision loss through two programs, Peer Support an Assistive Technology and Training.

The group is hosting a benefit concert on Friday, February 9, to raise funds for services such as: support group meetings, peer mentoring, community outings, information and referral services, food distribution, technology demonstrations and trials of adaptive equipment and lending and distribution of assistive devices.

Services are offered to people with vision loss, their family, caregivers and professionals who work with people with low to no vision.

The For Love and Sight Benefit Concert begins at 7 p.m. at the Barrel Barn at Talon Winery.

$57.50 per person or VIP tables which accommodate six quests are being sold for $500.
