We set down this morning with Gregory Turay and Joe Vennari from the Southeastern Babe Ruth League to discuss their new fundraiser.

The Southeastern Babe Ruth League is a Lexington-based organization that has been instrumental to the development and growth of youth baseball players for over forty years. They value and teach the importance of community, discipline, leadership, teamwork, and charity.

In order to continue this tradition, a considerable amount of funding and generosity is needed to maintain and improve the league. Specifically, they are looking to invest in new LED lights for their main field, and install new light towers for the lower field. This investment is critical as they expand the league and host additional tournaments throughout the summer months for years to come. They need your help to make this happen.

As your local Southeastern Babe Ruth Baseball League, they pride themselves in offering the best baseball experiences for our youth, ages 13-16. They have developed student-athletes who have excelled in high school, college, and professional baseball. Many of Their past players have been successful off the field as well, growing into local professionals and business leaders. Their achievements were made possible by providing them with the best fields, equipment, and coaches in Lexington.
