Spina Bifida is one of the most common birth disorders in the United States, affecting the formation of a person's spinal chord. Kentucky has double the rate of Spina Bifida cases than any other state.

A fundraising event will be held in Lexington on Saturday October 14th, to raise money for families living with Spina Bifida.

The event will be held at the Old Shriner's Hospital for Children beginning at 9:30 a.m. and is being organized by Spina Bifida Kentucky.
