INDIANAPOLIS, In. (WDKY) – No. 2 Kentucky advances to the Sweet 16 after holding off No. 10 Wichita State, 65-62.
The Wildcats needed two big blocked shots in the final 30 seconds of the game to preserve the win.
De’Aaron Fox and Malik Monk each had 14 points for Kentucky. Bam Adebayo added 13 points.
Wichita State was led by 20 points from Landry Shamet.
Kentucky will play next Friday in Memphis against the winner between Cincinnati and UCLA.
