Scott County coroner John Goble is now facing federal charges tied to guns and ammo stolen from Kentucky State Police.
Retired KSP Trooper Michael Crawford is also charged.
According to the indictment handed up from a federal grand jury Thursday, Goble and Crawford bought KSP owned guns and later sold them.
They’re accused of buying thousands of dollars worth of ammo. This all happened between late 2014 and early 2018.
Goble and Crawford are each facing two counts of conspiring to commit theft. They’re expected in court April 12th.
