‘Disney Plus Day’: Streaming service announces new releases, projects

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Today, Nov. 12, 2021, has officially been deemed “Disney Plus Day”.

The streaming service, which now caters to 116 million subscribers, is celebrating its second birthday by releasing content and announcing highly anticipated projects.

The project announcements will be ongoing throughout the day via Disney Plus’s Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Movies, short films, and series now available on the service:

  • “Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings”
  • “Jungle Cruise”
  • “Home Sweet Home Alone”
  • “Olaf Presents”
  • A collection of fan-favorite shorts from Walt Disney Animation Studios
  • “Ciao Alberto”
  • “The World According to Jeff Goldblum Season 2” (Episodes 1-5)
  • “Under The Helmet: The Legacy Of Boba Fett”
  • “The Simpsons In Plusaversary”
  • “Entrelazados”
  • “The Making of Happier than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles”
  • “Marvel Assembled: The Making of Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings”
  • “Marvel Studios Legends: Hawkeye”
  • “Enchanted”
  • “Spin”
  • “Fancy Nancy Season 3”

Disney Plus is also celebrating the faux holiday by allowing new members to get one month for $1.99 through Nov. 14.
