GEORGETOWN, Ky. (FOX 56) – The Georgetown College baseball team is receiving votes in the NAIA baseball rankings, putting together a strong season in the Mid South Conference.

The Tigers wrap up this weekend’s series against Campbellsville with a 15-6 record in the conference, currently in 3rd place in the league. After splitting a Saturday doubleheader, they hold a 25-14 record on the year.

Game One was shortened to 7 innings, with the Tigers dropping that one 4-3 but bouncing back in Game Two with a 4-2 win over Campbellsville, who has a 6-13 record in the Mid South down in third-to-last place.

Georgetown has just six games remaining in the regular season, ending on April 23 at the University of the Cumberlands before the postseason begins.
