Randall Cobb in UK uniform bobblehead released

Kentucky's Randall Cobb is among the 24 NFL stars included in the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum series of bobbleheads featuring the players in their college uniforms.

MILWAUKEE, Wi., December 6, 2017 – – The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has unveiled a limited edition bobblehead featuring Green Bay Packers star receiver, Randall Cobb, in his Kentucky Wildcats uniform. Before leading the Packers in receptions, Cobb was a standout at Kentucky, where he played multiple positions including quarterback and wide receiver.

The officially licensed bobbleheads are individually numbered to only 2,017 and are $40 each. The bobbleheads, which are in stock and shop now, are only available from the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.

The Green Bay Packers selected Cobb in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft with the 64th overall pick. During his career at Kentucky, he was named SEC All-Freshman team at quarterback, became the first player at Kentucky to score touchdowns rushing, passing, and receiving in a single game, and set the school record for career touchdowns. Cobb was a two-time All-SEC selection and 2010 All-American, and his performance at Kentucky earned him a spot in the University of Kentucky Athletics Hall of Fame, into which he was inducted in September. Prior to his time at Kentucky, Cobb was a letterman in football, basketball, and track at Alcoa High School in Alcoa, Tennessee.

In his career with the Packers, Cobb has nearly 5,000 receiving yards and over 40 touchdowns. These statistics helped Cobb earn a Pro Bowl selection in 2014, and his performance has helped the Packers reach the playoffs in each of his six seasons. His Hail Mary catch at the end of the first half of the Packers 2017 NFL Wild Card Playoff game against the New York Giants gave the Packers a 14-6 lead and momentum going into the second half. Cobb went on to score two more touchdowns in the game, sealing a 38-13 victory for the Packers. The Hail Mary play was commemorated in bobblehead-form, with a very limited number remaining.

"Given Cobb’s tremendous success at Kentucky and his popularity among Packers’ fans, we’re excited to release this bobblehead,” said Phil Sklar, Co-Founder and CEO of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum. “Cobb had an amazing college career, and given his solid performance in the NFL, we thought a bobblehead featuring Randall in his college uniform would be a great collectible for all of his fans.”

The bobbleheads were produced for the National Bobblehead HOF and Museum by FOCO.
