LEXINGTON, Ky. (WDKY) - University of Kentucky offensive coordinator Eddie Gran tweeted he is "all in" for Big Blue Nation after speculation he may be linked to a position at Georgia.
Kentucky Sports Radio first reported that Georgia extended an offer to Gran to become the Bulldogs next offensive coordinator. However, subsequent reports from other media outlets disputed that Gran had been offered the offensive coordinator position. Both Football Scoop and Dawg Nation report that Georgia did contact Gran but to discuss an opportunity to join UGA's staff as a position coach.
A source previously told FOX 56 Gran wanted to remain at UK, and the school wanted to keep him.
His salary at Kentucky is $850,000, but his contract calls for a $25,000 raise in 2019. Gran was the 33rd highest-paid assistant coach in the country last season.
