LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – The Lexington Legends and Wild Health Genomes face each other this season more than any other combination of teams in the Atlantic League, meaning the Lexington neighbors are already pretty familiar with each other.

The Genomes took Game One of a Tuesday doubleheader with the Legends, winning 6-4 behind three massive home runs in the bottom of the 4th inning.

Chris Shaw and Carlos Castro each teed off for two-run bombs to take their team from losing 4-1 up to winning 5-4. Then Anderson Miller added some insurance with a solo shot out to right field.

The Legends are the defending Atlantic League champions and currently sit in first place in the South Division standings with a record of 25-25.

Both squads face off on Wednesday and have another doubleheader scheduled for Thursday.
