WINCHESTER, Ky. (FOX 56) – The Tim Scott Automotive Classic brought some thrilling high school basketball games to the George Rogers Clark High School basketball court on Saturday.

The marquee game saw the host Clark Co. Cardinals take on Paul Laurence Dunbar and get a 83-59 win behind dominant performances from Tanner Walton and Jerone Morton.

Harlan Co. took the trip up to play in the classic against Madison Central and gave the Indians a good game. A three-pointer from Jackson Huff brought the Black Bears to within one, but a key block from Robby Todd and clutch free throws from Will Hardin helped Central grab a 74-70.

Elsewhere in Lexington, Bryan Station took on Sayre Christian in a 42nd district showdown and grabbed a 80-70 road win, helping their stronghold on the district and the 11th region.
