LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — After a historic season donning a Kentucky jersey, wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson is taking his talents to the pro level. Robinson announced he is declaring for the NFL Draft with a video on his social media Wednesday evening.

After two seasons at Nebraska, Robinson, a Frankfort native and Western Hills grad, transferred closer to home to play for the Wildcats. In just one season, the 5-foot-9 speedster broke UK’s single-season receiving record, catching 104 passes for 1,334 yards and seven touchdowns.

After the Citrus Bowl win, Robinson said he would sit down and discuss his future with his family.

He joins Marquan McCall as Wildcats to declare for the draft on Wednesday.
