LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56/) –The Transylvania men’s basketball team opened conference play on Wednesday night with a home game against Franklin College.

The Pioneers lost, 92-91 in overtime when the Grizzlies made a shot with 0.4 seconds to go ahead for good.

Hunter Penn scored 23 points to lead the Pioneers, while Brandon Cromwell had 20 points and Colby Napier dropped 19 points.

Transy drops to 3-1 overall and 0-1 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference games. They are back in action on Saturday at home against Rose-Hulman.
