LEXINGTON, Ky. (WDKY) – Kentucky quarterback Terry Wilson has announced his intentions to transfer from the UK football program for his final year of eligibility. Wilson announced his decision on Instagram Monday night.
“I want to start by saying than you to the coaching staff at Kentucky for the opportunities I have been given for the past three years,” said Wilson. “I also want to thank my teammates. I have made relationships and memories here that will last a lifetime. With that being said, I have decided to enter the transfer portal for my last season of eligibility. Thank you, Kentucky. It’s been a good ride.”
Wilson ends his time at UK with a 17-8 record. His career was highlighted by wins at Florida, Tennessee, and Louisville, along with two bowl wins.
