LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – It didn’t take long for Wan’Dale Robinson’s phone to ring on Friday night once the second round got underway. After the first pick of the round, Robinson left the room.

By pick 43, he was a New York Giant, and the first Kentucky player selected in the 2022 NFL Draft. Getting a call from the team that was going to be his new home was a dream of his since he was five years old.

Robinson blazed records at Kentucky in his lone season in Lexington, breaking the single-season school receiving record with 1,334 yards. He scored seven touchdowns on the season.
