COLUMBIA, S.C. (FOX 56) – Three home runs helped Kentucky baseball avoid a sweep at South Carolina on Sunday, with the Cats taking the series finale 7-1.

Ryan Ritter homered in the second inning to get UK (27-23, 10-17) on the board first. Adam Fogel went yard a couple of batters later, with a two-run shot that gave the Wildcats a 3-0 lead.

Kentucky controls its own destiny in terms of getting into the SEC Tournament later this month. If they win the series against Auburn, the Cats will make the field headed to Hoover.
