LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Kentucky softball is headed to a 13th straight NCAA Tournament, and the Wildcats are headed to the Blacksburg Regional. UK will take on Miami (OH) at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

St. Francis (PA) and No. 3 overall seed Virginia Tech are the other two teams in the field of four.

Kentucky had a run-in with Miami (OH) earlier in the season, losing 7-5. UK also lost to Virginia Tech 6-1 on opening weekend.

The Cats have started the last five postseasons at home hosting a regional, but their road to a second straight super regional will start in Virginia.
