Ingredients

2 cups milk

3 eggs

1/3 cup sugar

Pinch salt

1 tsp vanilla

1 18-oz loaf cinnamon bread, cubed (about 5-6 cups)

1/2 cup golden raisins

Butter, for greasing dish

Instructions

Whisk the milk, eggs, sugar, salt, and vanilla together. Place the bread cubes and raisins in the bottom of a buttered 9×13 baking dish. Pour the liquid mixture over top and allow to sit for about 5-10 minutes, pressing any dry bread cubes down into the liquid to moisten. Bake at 350 degrees until puffed and set in the middle, about 30-35 minutes. Serve warm, with Bourbon Frosting Sauce.

Bourbon Frosting Sauce

Ingredients

1/2 stick butter, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tbsp bourbon

Pinch salt

Instructions

In the bowl of a mixer, beat the butter with the sugar, bourbon, and salt until fluffy. Serve over warm bread pudding.
