1 lb bulk breakfast sausage
2 tbsp maple syrup (we used Kentucky Honey Farms Bourbon Maple Syrup)
1 tsp hot sauce
Form the breakfast sausage into small patties and place in a skillet or on a griddle over medium high heat. In a small bowl, stir the maple syrup and hot sauce together. Flip the sausage and brush the cooked side with this mixture. Once cooked, flip and brush the sausage again to give it a sweet and spicy exterior.
