LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Snow chances finally wrap up tonight with dry conditions taking over for everyone. Skies are expected to clear out as an arctic high pressure settles in across the region.

With clearing skies and a snowpack, these coupled together will allow temperatures to really cool off. Single digits look like a good bet for many with spots to our east falling into the low teens. Wind chill values near or below zero are expected.

Mostly sunny skies win out Friday with cold highs in the low to mid 20s. Conditions remain dry Friday night with lows back in the teens.

More sunshine and dry time sticks around Saturday with warmer highs in the 40s. Those 40s stick around Sunday but rain chances look likely. Some heavier rainfall will be possible at times.
