LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – It does not happen every day, but when it does occur, people get excited here in the Commonwealth.
I’m talking about a Spring weekend where both Saturday and Sunday have highs in the 80s with no chance for storms or severe weather. Well, this weekend is one of those weekends.

“The sky is the limit” on all the wonderful things you can do outside this weekend: Washing the car, walking the dog, taking a picnic, doing some home improvement, mowing the lawn, grilling out, attending a concert, etc.

LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:

Of course, this warm spell will not last forever. Expect cooler air to arrive by Tuesday with showers and storms on the increase Monday afternoon into Tuesday morning.
Overnight lows will be dropping into the mid 30s by Wednesday morning and again on Thursday morning, where the mention of frost may re-appear in some areas.
