LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Expect some scattered clouds tonight, but turning bitter cold.
If the wind can settle down enough overnight, a mostly clear sky and some snow on the ground should allow temperatures to fall into the single digits. Expecting a low temperature in and around Lexington, however, tonight around 11.
If the wind stays up some, we’ll have lows in the lower teens. Wind chills overnight should drop between zero and 10 degrees above.
At this point, it’s all about the wind chill and how it feels on the exposed skin. Be safe and wear plenty of layers if your plans keep you outside for any length of time
A few scattered clouds on Friday will not warm our temperatures up very much. Expect highs to stay in the lower to mid-20s and wind chills climbing into the teens on Friday afternoon.

Friday night, look for starry skies, frigid air, lows around 6°…with wind chills of – 8 to zero by early Saturday morning.
Saturday, expect mostly sunny skies with an increase in high clouds by the afternoon, highs around 31.
