LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Expect low temperatures in Lexington tonight to be near 69 degrees with more showers and storms.
The rainy pattern that was introduced today across the Commonwealth will only continue as we head into tonight and Monday. Locally heavy rain will be possible.
While flash flooding may be scattered to isolated, according to the Weather Prediction Center, the rain, in general, will have a cooling effect on Monday with afternoon highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s.

Rainfall amounts tonight and Monday may vary from 0.50″ to 1.50″ with locally higher amounts near 2 inches.

“Turn Around, Don’t Drown!” If you happen to see rising waters, seek higher ground immediately. It does not take much rushing water, it would seem, to knock you off your feet.

Sizzlin’ hot weather returns later this week with highs in the mid to upper 90s and dew points above 70 degrees. This will translate to “Feels Like” temperatures in the “triple digits.”
