LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — High pressure keeps us dry today with some high clouds rolling in later this afternoon. Temperatures will be warmer than yesterday, reaching the upper 70s and lower 80s.

An approaching low pressure will lead to increased clouds on Wednesday with showers and storms coming in later in the day.

Some of those storms could be on the strong side with gusty winds the primary threat.

The warm front hangs around on Thursday keeping the chance for scattered storms in the forecast.

A ridge of high pressure builds in for Friday ushering in much warmer temperatures. In fact, we will be close to record temperatures.
