Pack an umbrella today as rain and drizzle are in the forecast, especially across southern and southeastern Kentucky where the more widespread rain will fall.

Futurecast is a little too warm with temperatures across the south. I think mid and possibly a few upper-60s in that area are as warm as it will be.

The low pressure responsible for the rain will move away and take the rain with it leading to a drier overnight under a mostly cloudy sky.

Tuesday is going to be a much nicer day with sunshine returning and temperatures warming back near normal in the upper 70s.

Another storm system rolls into the Ohio Valley Wednesday into Thursday with another chance for showers and storms. Some of those storms could be on the strong side.
