LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — High pressure is going to provide nice weather today, but with southerly winds moisture will be on the increase. That will lead to some scattered cumulus clouds this afternoon and I can’t rule out a stray pop-up shower in eastern Kentucky.

Most of the area will stay dry! It will be breezy and warmer as highs peak in the mid to upper 80s.

Tuesday will pretty much be a carbon copy of Today’s forecast, but the humidity creeps a bit higher and so will temperatures.

Showers and storms return late Wednesday into Thursday as a cold front pushes south.
