LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The cold front has moved out of the state and a northerly wind is bringing in cooler and less humid air for today.

Temperatures will warm into the mid to upper 80s under a mainly sunny sky. Humidity will continue to fall into the afternoon and evening.

A pleasant overnight is on the way with lows bottoming out in the 50s and low 60s.

Low humidity sticks around for Friday with temperatures near or just above seasonal levels in the mid to upper 80s.

The heat and humidity will be on the rise this weekend. Highs both days will reach the low 90s. A cold front late Sunday will bring some showers and storms.
