LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — After a gloomy morning, we’ll see partial clearing this afternoon, which will help temperatures warm into the low to mid-70s.

A warm front moves into the Ohio Valley overnight into Wednesday morning leading to some scattered showers and a few storms. Temperatures won’t drop as much with lows in the low 60s.

The warm front will be north of the area by Wednesday afternoon, but with increased moisture scattered storms will be possible into the afternoon and evening. Some of the storms could be strong to severe with damaging wind gusts the primary threat, but some hail will be possible.

An area of low pressure will spiral across the region Thursday into Friday with rounds of rain and storms. Some of the storms could be strong once again.
