LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — An upper-level low pressure will bring scattered showers and a few rumbles of thunder today. Thankfully we’re not looking at any severe storms.

Temperatures will be about ten degrees below average for this time of year in the mid to upper 60s.

The slow-moving low pressure will be pulling away from the region on Saturday, but we’ll still have a partly sunny sky.

A warming trend continues through the weekend with highs back in the low 80s on Sunday and mid to upper 80s on Memorial Day.

The forecast remains dry Saturday through Wednesday with a chance for storms next Thursday.
