LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Clouds will decrease overnight giving way to a mostly clear sky. Patchy fog will be possible, especially in river valleys.
Temperatures will be on the cool side by Sunday morning as lows bottom out in the 50s.
High pressure will remain in control of our weather on Sunday giving us more sunshine. Expect a mostly sunny to partly cloudy sky at times.
With southerly winds returning, expect afternoon temperatures to heat up into the low and mid-80s.
Memorial Day is going to be even warmer with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Humidity will increase leading to a few more clouds during the heating of the day.
Some guidance tries to develop a pop-up shower Monday afternoon, but those should stay to the south of our area.
