LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – A cold front moves through the region today bringing a slight chance of a shower or sprinkles. Most locations remain dry under a mostly cloudy sky. Despite the clouds, temperatures still warm into the 40s and potentially low 50s this afternoon.
Clouds will be the rule on Friday and it will be a colder day with temperatures staying in the 30s. I can’t rule out a few flurries.
A winter storm is still on the table for this weekend with Sunday being the peak of the storm. At this time snow looks to be the primary precipitation type, but a wintry mix is possible. The track of the low will determine precipitation types and amounts. Stay tuned as the details become clearer with this storm.
