A gloomy and dreary weekend forecast will continue in the forecast with more chances of rain and possibly even a wintry mix move back in.
Keep that umbrella and coat on hand for tonight if you plan to be out and about. Another system will be approaching from our west, bringing back in rain chances that will begin late this evening and mostly into tonight. Temperatures will also remain on the chilly side in the lower 40s and upper 30s with moderate winds.
Rain chances will continue into Sunday morning and afternoon but become more scattered and isolated throughout the day. Some of the precipitation on Sunday could even become a little bit of a wintry mix for northern areas and shouldn’t create any significant roadway issues. Temperatures won’t move around all day as highs are only expected to reach the upper 30s with some 40s to the south. Winds will remain moderate around 5-10mph, with cloudy skies persisting throughout the day.
Our pattern will stay relatively quiet through much of next week, with a weak clipper system possibly moving in from the northwest on Tuesday, bringing another wintry mix. Then we won’t see our next more robust system approach or region until late next week on Thursday and Friday. This nest system is expected to bring more rain chances and throw out some snow chances as temperatures cool down into Friday and next weekend. Highs generally stay around the lower 40s through much of next week, which is relatively average for this time of year.
