LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Temperatures will run in the mid to upper 80s again today. Well… until the scattered storms develop.
This forecast has been on “rinse and repeat” all week. It continues out there today. I expect more thunderstorms to go up with some heavy rain producers possible. This tropical feel in the air will keep us uncomfortable while feeding the storms even more moisture.
Some of the storms that develop in our northern skies could be strong or even severe. These stronger storms might pass through the skies of central & eastern Kentucky as well.
This is the pattern that holds until the end of the week. That is when a cold front will plow through the region and shake things up. A cold front will cleanse the commonwealth of the storms and humid air.
Take care of each other!
